Like all great institutions, we are constantly learning, growing, and evolving. In this effort, we look to identify and leverage outstanding partners who can help us be best-in-class in critical areas. To that end, we’re currently focused on three key partnerships:

Responsive Classroom is an evidence-based approach to teaching, focusing on engaging academics, positive community, effective classroom management, and developmental awareness. ASJA faculty attend ongoing professional development training and are provided additional resources to create safe, joyful, and engaging classrooms and school communities where students develop strong social and academic skills and where every student can thrive.

Our partnership with Loyola Academy focuses on middle school math and ensuring that our 8th-grade graduates are prepared to excel in a rigorous high school math program.  ASJA and Loyola Academy faculty members work closely together to design curriculum progression and observe outstanding teaching.

Loyola Academy is a private, co-educational Jesuit college preparatory high school. It is the largest Jesuit high school in America and is widely recognized for its excellence in education in the Jesuit tradition.

IMSA is a highly regarded leader and innovator in teaching math and science. Our Faculty utilizes the Professional Development we have participated in to incorporate inquiry-based learning throughout the Academy's academic experience. Inquiry-based learning develops a deeper understanding of subject content and encourages student-led initiative and creative problem-solving.
