Back-to-School at The Academy: Key Dates & Helpful Reminders
We’re just days away from another joyful year at The Academy at St. Joan of Arc, and we can’t wait to welcome our students and families—both new and returning—back to campus. Whether this is your very first school year with us or your eighth, here’s everything you need to know to start the year strong.
Mark Your Calendar
August 14 – New Family Information Night
6:00 PM in the Cafeteria – A warm welcome, important information, and answers to your questions.
August 20 – Kona Ice Meet & Greet | School Hosted for all families welcome | East Lot
2:00–4:00 PM – Cool off, reconnect, and meet new friends before school begins.
August 21
First Day of School for Grades K–8 – 11:30 AM Dismissal
Preschool & Prekindergarten Meet & Greet
All students should arrive in their school uniform.
August 22
First Full Day for Kindergarten–8th Grade
First Day of School for Preschool & Prekindergarten – 11:30 AM Dismissal Parents please plan to join us for the BTS Coffee in the East Lot
August 25 – First Full Day for Preschool & Prekindergarten
September 3 – Curriculum Night for Parents, Grades K–8
6:30 PM – Meet your child’s teachers and learn about the year ahead.
September 4 – Back to School Night for Preschool/Prekindergarten Parents
7:00 PM – Connect with teachers and explore our early learning spaces.
Start Time Reminder
Thank you in advance for helping your child arrive by 8:00 AM. With classes starting promptly at 8:10 AM, this extra buffer helps your child transition calmly, connect with friends, and be fully ready for the day.
Spirit Wear & School Resources
Our first Spirit Wear Day will be Friday, August 29. Spirit Wear tops should be worn with the school uniform. On all other days, students should wear the standard school uniform.
