Uniform Guidelines (K–8)
The Academy uniform reflects pride in our school community. Students are expected to wear their uniforms neatly and respectfully each day. Preschool students are not required to wear uniforms, though optional items are available through Lands’ End.
What Students Wear
Students wear their standard school uniform three days per week and their PE uniform two days per week. Please reference the grade-level visual guide below for specific uniform combinations.
Daily Expectations
- Official ASJA logo tops and sweaters required
- Collared shirt worn and tucked in
- Uniforms clean and in good condition

PE Days
PE uniform is worn to school. Gym shoes are required. Please refer to the 25/26 PE Schedule
Spirit Wear (Fridays)
Spirit wear tops may be worn on designated Fridays. Students must wear regular uniform bottoms:
- Plaid skirt or skort
- Khaki pants or shorts
- Approved gym shorts
- Spirit wear bottoms are not permitted unless announced.
Footwear
- Gym shoes or black or brown dress shoes
- No boots, sandals, Crocs, light-up or wheeled shoes
- Solid white, navy, or evergreen socks
General Appearance
Students should be neat and well groomed. Natural hair colors only. Hats may not be worn in the building. If a student is out of uniform, families will be contacted so the appropriate item can be brought to school.
