OUR CHRISTMAS TREE LOT IS BACK!

Kick off the Christmas season this Thanksgiving Weekend with a fresh-cut fir from The Academy's annual Christmas Tree Lot located at The Fat Shallot in Evanston. Come in for a bite and find your perfect tree from November 28 to 30. We have a limited selection of Fraser and Balsam firs and wreaths that'll make your home extra cozy. Plus, nothing beats the scent of a real Christmas tree wafting through your home!

All proceeds from the Tree Sale benefit The Academy at St. Joan of Arc.

Pictures with Santa

Santa and Mrs Claus are making a special stop at The Fat Shallot on November 30th to spread holiday cheer and capture magical moments with you and your loved ones!

Bring the family for a holly jolly visit with Santa and receive a professional Santa photo to remember the moment. While you wait for your turn with Santa, check out our fresh-cut Christmas trees, order some delicious hot chocolate from the cafe, and enjoy holiday crafts.

Time: 1pm - 5pm
Fee: $10 suggested donation

Your session with Santa will be on a first-come, first-served basis and a link to your photos via a shared album will be shared with you at the event.

FAQs for Pictures with Santa

How does the Santa photo session work?

Please come to the Santa station upon arrival to check in and get your number.
Make your donation. The suggested amount is $10.00.
We will call your number when it is your turn. Please listen out for your number being called.
A professional photographer will be taking your family pictures.
A link to your photo via a shared album will be provided at the event. The link will have ALL the photos taken at the Santa event. If you don't want your photo in the shared album, we are happy to take a picture directly on your phone.

How long will the wait be?

We hope to move the line as quickly as possible so we kindly ask for your cooperation and patience. While you wait for your turn with Santa, check out our fresh-cut Christmas trees, order some delicious hot chocolate from the cafe, and enjoy holiday crafts.

Do I need to reserve a time slot?

We are not taking any reservations. Your session with Santa will be on a first-come, first-served basis via a queue number that must be collected when you check in at the Santa Station upon arrival.

How much does the photo session with Santa cost?

As this is a community event, the session is free but we do suggest a minimum donation of $10 to cover our costs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards & Venmo as forms of payment.
